This project consisted of 35 acres of Mesquite and Cedar to grub and pile. We completed this task with our skid steer and patented Mesquite Grubbing attachment named the Root N All.

The skid steer with Root N All is a great little tool when dealing with small young Mesquite. We deploy this on numerous projects that are dealing with young Mesquite growth. Mechanical eradication of Mesquite is often viewed as more favorable than chemical treatments.

Chemical application is typically how many will deal with this size Mesquite. However, with chemicals you are limited to successfully killing the Mesquite during the summer months. The success rate of the kill on sprayed Mesquite has multiple variables from mix of chemicals, temperature applied, humidity, rain, wind just to name a few.

We developed this tool for our skid steers back in 2010 and have grubbed 100’s if not 1,000’s of acres with this tool. It’s a fun attachment to run and it’s even more fun to watch it in action when we came up with the idea years ago.
