This land clearing service took place on a 850 acre ranch located in Medina County near Mico, TX. The landowner has worked with Cedar Eaters over numerous years to perform Cedar Clearing and improve access to various areas of the property. We estimate that we have cleared over 250 acres of previously inaccessible land.

The land in the Mico TX area is very rocky and if dozed it would do more harm than good. The mulch left behind from our forestry mulchers has provided a protective layer over the ground preventing erosion of what little topsoil can be found on the property.

Once the Cedar was mulched it has allowed for various low brush species to take over along with native grasses. The owner has had a significant increase in song birds as well as increased visibility for native wildlife. Even though it remains fairly arid in South Texas this owner has seen his springs run for a much longer period of time after large rain events.
