This land clearing project consists of a 250 acre ranch in Garvin County Oklahoma. Cedar Eaters was contacted in 2023 to perform Cedar Clearing as part of a land clearing contract with NRCS and private landowner. Cedar Eaters conducted the Cedar Clearing with one of our 375 HP Tigercat forestry mulchers and a 3 man hand crew. In 2023 Cedar Eaters cleared an estimated 105 acres by concentrating our clearing efforts on Clearing Cedar from encroached pastureland.

Cedar Eaters returned to the property in 2024 and focused our Cedar Clearing efforts within the forested sections of their property and cleared an additional 37 acres of heavy woodland understory. Cedar Eaters concentrated on clearing cedar only within the hardwood forest. However, our land clearing efforts also improved access to the pond and lake features on this property.

The aerial photos taken show the unimpeded grass growth in areas where Cedar was cleared last year.
