Transform Your Land with Cedar Eaters.
We recently had the pleasure of working on a stunning 550-acre property near Kempner, TX, where we tackled a pesky Mesquite and Prickly Pear infestation on 91 acres of wooded pasture. The landowner was feeling overwhelmed by the dense growth, especially with grazing concerns, and chose to go chemical-free. That’s where Cedar Eaters stepped in!
In late August 2022, we rolled up our sleeves and got to work, using organic methods to grub out unwanted Mesquite and Persimmon, while also piling up the stubborn Prickly Pear Cactus into neat rows. Our team then unleashed the power of our forestry mulcher, thoroughly grinding down all the vegetation to ensure a clean slate for the land.
Fast forward to January 2024—our efforts have paid off spectacularly! We returned to the site to find a remarkable transformation: we achieved an incredible **99% kill rate** on both the Cactus and Mesquite, allowing the native grasses to thrive and flourish. The owner even introduced some native grass seed in the spring of 2023 to further enhance the ecosystem!
At Cedar Eaters, we believe in unlocking the full potential of your property with our expert land clearing services. Are you ready to transform your land? Contact us today and let’s create a vibrant, healthy landscape together!
